We're excited to share the latest release notes for the Accelevents platform with our users. Our April 3, 2023 update includes a range of new features and improvements that we believe will enhance the event experience for both event organizers and attendees. Check out the details below and see how these updates can help you plan and manage successful events.
We are excited to introduce a new payment option for event attendees - Pay Later via invoice! This feature allows attendees to reserve their spots during registration and receive an invoice afterwards, which they can pay at their convenience via check, wire, ACH, credit card, or any other preferred method.
This eliminates the need for event organizers to manually send invoices, making the registration process more streamlined and efficient. The Accelevents platform will automatically send invoices after registration and keep track of payment statuses, making it easy for organizers to manage their finances. Offering the Pay Later option will give attendees more flexibility and convenience, while making the event planning process smoother for organizers.
You can now configure Offline Payments as an option when setting up your event registration process.
When customers choose the Offline Payment option for their tickets, they will receive a confirmation of their order and will be informed that they need to pay later.
Currently, Offline Payments must be handled outside of the Accelevents platform by your staff. Once you receive payment, you can mark the ticket as paid in the Orders area of Accelevents. You can even enter partial payments!
The Add Attendees area of Accelevents also supports Offline as a payment option.
We are actively working on Offline Payments, so look for more enhancements over the next couple of months! If you have any feature requests, let us know!
We have made a lot of improvements to our Badge Design tool, and are proud to announce that we are removing the “beta” tag from that area of the Accelevents Platform.
It may be out of beta, but we’re still working on enhancements to all of our in-person features. If you have ideas or needs for the Badge Designer, please let us know!
Uploading images is now easier and more flexible with the addition of a cropping tool to the upload interface. This allows you to make any image conform to the correct height and width for that image. Note: You must upload an image that's at least as wide as the image size listed in the upload box.

We understand that sometimes it's important to restrict event registration to specific groups of people. That's why we've introduced a new feature that allows you to create email domain-based validation rules to control who can register for your event.
With this feature, you can specify exactly which email domains are allowed to register for your event. For example, you can limit registration to only those who work at your company by specifying your company's email domain. Alternatively, you can block competitors from registering for your product launch by excluding their email domain.
You can even specify whether the rule should allow or disallow domains that contain a certain string of characters. This gives you more control over who can attend your event and helps ensure that your event is exclusive to your desired audience.
Attendee Registration fields have been added to downloadable reports for your Polls and Q&A, so you can have more information close at hand about who answered your polls and who asked questions during a session.
You can now include fields in your registration forms that are not visible to your attendees. This allows you to pass information to your CRM based on the type of ticket purchased or answer to a conditional question.
The Hidden Field information is visible on your list of attendees, so if you pass information into Accelevents from your CRM or via the API, you can include extra metadata about your attendees that comes straight from your systems.
