Discover What's new On Accelevents - September 26th Release!

🆕Invite Attendees to the Stage

That's right, as a Speaker, Moderator, or Event Admin, you can now invite attendees to join the Studio within a Main Stage or Breakout session streaming via the Accelevents Studio!

Attendees will have 1 minute to Accept the invite and will be prompted to select their devices before being routed to the Studio with Speakers.

As a Speaker, send an invite to an attendee to join you in the Studio from the Attendees tab.

🆕 Accelevents Studio Onboarding

First-time Studio users will be presented with a Welcome Popup offering a Guided Studio Tour which they can opt to start or skip. The tour will walk users through how to use the Accelevents Studio in 3 parts:

  1. Engaging with Attendees: From the right side menu, you can engage with attendees using the chat, create polls and answer Q&A
  2. Separate Chat Rooms: Use the Session and Backstage tabs to switch between the attendee-facing public chat and the backstage chat between speakers
  3. Choose when to start the live broadcast: The countdown lets Speakers know when it's the right time to start broadcasting to the Audience

🪄 Organizer Console Reorganization

We’ve done some housekeeping on the Organizer Console top navigation and, while it looks a whole lot cleaner, some things might not be where you’re used to finding them:

  • Moved the Manage Email Notifications and Unsubscribed Users Report to the Admin Console > Engage > Send Emails area (Image)
  • Moved the Widgets tab within the Organizer Profile tab (Image)
  • Moved the Usage Reports tab within the Billing Tab (Image)
  • Renamed Profile to Organizer Profile
  • Renamed the Team tab to Team Members
  • Renamed the Audience Tab to Audience Analytics

Additional Updates

  • For Paid Registration Tickets, as an Event Admin, within Registration > Set Up Tickets > Create/Edit tickets, we’ve renamed the Buyer Price field to Revenue Per Ticket. This field will reflect the organizers' take-home amount per ticket purchase. (Image)

  • As an Event Admin, in the Advanced Settings of your Tickets, we’ve added 2 checkboxes allowing Event Admins to choose to include PDF Tickets and/or ticket buyers' PDF Invoice as an attachment in the order confirmation email. (Image)
  • Now included in the Export Exhibitors .CSV file will be the following Expo Booth Uploaded Images: Logo, Expo Card, Banner, and Carousel. Event Admins can find this in the Admin Console > Exhibitors & Sponsors > Export Exhibitors. (Image)
  • Renamed the Activity Stream found in the Lobby of the Virtual Event Hub to Lobby Feed. (Image)
  • Removed the ability for Event Admins to reorder the My Booth and My Speaking Schedule tabs in the Virtual Event Hub. These tabs will remain stationary at the bottom of the left-side navigation menu.
  • Removed session Join and View Recording buttons from the Event Agenda Widget.
  • All product announcements are available on all admin-facing pages (Image)
